Thank you sunshine for being so kind to us. We’ve been out and about a lot recently, in pursuit of some of our sporting and aviation friends in action in the big atmosphere.
With the help of film-maker extraordinaire, Remco of Pixillion, we are in the midst of putting a film together for you all to see in the near future. From busy air shows to calming fields of barley, from rough waters to smooth putting greens, Bigatmo has been found protecting the eyes in all sorts of extremes.
Making the film would not have been possible without the generosity of time from so many. Our Bigatmo friends have revealed their work or play to the camera, and shown us what a great time can be had when you follow your dreams and embrace every experience under the sun.
Bigatmo on the Water
Thank you Di, Simon and Ollie of Action Watersports, Lydd, Kent, champions of entertaining the thrill-seeker, as well as those with a more relaxed need. Working on the water all day can be intensely demanding on the eyes. Paddle boarding, fly boarding and speed boating was put to the test whilst the camera was there. Amazing fun.
Bigatmo at the Wheel
From the monster-like farm machinery with vast areas of glass panes and complex operational controls, through to the sweetest 60s convertibles with their minimal glass and low centre of gravity, a good pair of sunglasses is vital for long days behind the wheel. We toured the fields of the Romney Marsh and the pretty lanes of the Weald to see Bigatmo sunglasses in action. Thanks to Ben with his tractor and Clare with her MG for taking us out for a ride.
Bigatmo Rides the Waves
Big waves are exactly what a kite surfer needs when pushing him or herself to the limits. We picked the perfect day to find James and Steve of The Kitesurf Centre near Camber Sands. Blustery winds, a high tide, and a lull before his next lesson made everything ideal for Steve who could then put on a great show just for us. Not once did his Bigatmo’s fall from his face, despite crashing through waves and twisting and turning, time and time again.
Whilst Steve entertained us out at sea, the Bigatmo girls focussed on not being blown away.
Bigatmo on the Golf Course
The stunning setting of the Rye Golf Club could not be beaten as a perfect backdrop for a film shoot. Bigatmo sunglasses are stocked in the professional golf shop and Jake kindly took us out on to the green for filming.
Bigatmo on the Road
Jeff’s classic motorbike and Clare’s vintage MG were stunning showpieces to showcase Bigatmo sunglasses on the road. What a fun ride we had!
Out on the road, we also found Paul, a keen cyclist and a huge fan of Bigatmo.
Bigatmo Flying High
Back to our roots in aviation, the Bigatmo team spent a weekend at the 2017 Aero Expo, the UK’s biggest aviation event. As well as exhibiting, meeting old friends and selling to new customers, our film-maker Remco was there to capture some key moments in the air and at ground level too. Not only did our most loyal fans Team Yakovlevs be part of the action, so did our Bose Aviation partners and also the superbly talented air display pilot and his aircraft the Dutch Rush.
Coming Soon
So the filming is complete and Remco, our creative film-maker is now knee-deep in editing. Soon to be revealed will be the finished film, and we cannot wait to share with everyone. Bigatmo working with the big atmosphere, loving every minute, every sport, every challenge. Coming soon….
